On the afternoon of July 23, the Municipal Health and Family Planning Comprehensive Supervision and Enforcement Bureau of Yichang organized law enforcement officers to conduct random surveillance and inspection of three swimming places in the urban area of Yichang. Among them, two swimming pools was ordered to be rectified because the residual chlorine was not up to standard; one swimming pool would be investigated and punished according to the law because it was operating without a license.
At the Bolang Carnival Water Park and the swimming pool of the Landscape Vista Community, law enforcement officers on-site detected the free residual chlorine in the swimming pool water. The results were lower than the national mandatory standard value. So the swimming pool was ordered to be rectified according to the problems existing in field testing. In the swimming pool of Coastal Horizon Community, law enforcement officers found the swimming pool was operated without a health permit.
