He said that Yichang is put into practice the guiding principles from General Secretary Xi Jinping's major policy addressed on inspecting Hubei, speeding up the transformation of new and old kinetic energy, and accelerating industrial transformation and upgrading. In the first half of the year, with the excellent performance of Yichang’s economy, and its high-quality development entered the stage of "refueling". As an important node city connecting the “Belt and Road” and the Yangtze River Economic Belt, Yichang is rushing to seize a new round of high-level opening opportunities, solidly promoting the construction of self-trade area and the comprehensive protection area, and planning to implement a number of open cooperation projects such as Lingyun Civil Aviation Industrial Park to build a new pattern of all-round opening up. With the support of the General Administration of Customs and Wuhan Customs, Yichang will increase investment promotion and project construction, improve the quality and efficiency of export-oriented economy, and strive to promote high-quality development with a high level of openness.

The General Administration of Customs will work closely with relevant departments to promote the implementation of convenient measures such as bonded maintenance and preferential policies so as to create favorable conditions for high-quality items such as Lingyunke cargo conversion and promote Yichang's opening to the outside world to a new level.
