It’s learned from Yichang Transportation Group Co., Ltd., that the intercity bus going between Yichang and Songzi will start a trial operation from August 28. It is the 9th inter-city bus route of Yichang City. The other eight routes that have been put into operation one after another are those starting from Yichang to Xingshan, Yidu, Changyang, Wufeng, Yuan’an, Zigui, Zhijiang and Dangyang.

　　The Yichang-Songzi intercity bus runs on both high and low speed routes. The high-speed route goes from Yichang Bus Center Station, passing Wuyi Square, Yichang Yangtze River Highway Bridge, S88 (Yueyi Expressway), West of Songzi, S254-Provincial Highway, Mashui, S332 of Provincial Highway, and arrives at the destination Songzi Jinsong Bus Station (as two-way round trip operation); The low-speed route starts from Yichang Bus Center Station, passing Wuyi Square, Xiaoting, Baiyang Xincheng, Yafan, Gu jiadian, Zhicheng Bridge, Yangxi, Cheyang River, Lingang Industrial Park, Chendian, Temples of Guan Yu and Yue Fei, Mutian River, and ends at Songzi Jinsong Bus Station (as two-way round trip operation). The departure time at Yichang Bus Center Station is 7:00 a.m. and the last is 5: 50 p.m. while that for Songzi Jinsong Bus Station is 7:00 a.m. and ends at 6: 00 p.m. with an average shift interval of 40 minutes.

　　At present, Yichang Transportation Group Co., Ltd. has invested 12 large Yutong luxury buses with 30 authorized seats each. The buses are equipped with GPS positioning and 360-degree real-time video monitoring system, air conditioning and on-board movies, etc. Tickets can be purchased through 6 channels: ticketing service counter, self-service machines, the WeChat public number of Yichang Transportation Group Co., Ltd., official ticketing website of the company, Changtu Network, Ctrip Network, Tongcheng Yilong, WeChat public number of BUS365 and smart-phone applications, and official website of Hubei Road Passenger Transportation Network Center.
