On August 28th, the opening ceremony of Yichang’s major projects in August 2019 was held in Baiyang Industrial Park, Yichang High-tech Zone. 19 projects with a total investment of 21.22 billion yuan are bound to kick off one after another. Among them, 8 projects have been started recently, with a total investment of 8.7 billion yuan, and 11 projects are scheduled to kick off during the year, with a total investment of 12.52 billion yuan. Aimed at speeding up the construction of the transportation system of crossing the Three Gorges Dam in Yichang, it is of great significance to the work of unhindered transportation. Zhou Ji expressed his compliment and inquired about the dredging port railway of Baiyang Port, Three Gorges Hub, one of the start-up Project. He pointed out that in order to give full play to Yichang's regional advantages, we should seize the opportunity, improve the station position and confirm the position of Yichang in the national transportation pattern. We should make every effort to promote the interconnection of the dredging port railway of Baiyang Port and other local railways with the national railway network, speed up the construction of the large transport pattern, making our contribution to a golden economic belt with smoother traffic.

　　Among the start-up 19 projects, there are 9 crossing-the Three Gorges Dam transportation system projects with a total investment of 11.78 billion yuan. They are the dredging port railway project of Baiyang Port, Three Gorges Hub, the container berth project of the World Bank loan Three Gorges Logistics, Crossing the Three Gorges Dam and Jiangnan Oil and Gas Pipeline Project, Crossing the Three Gorges Dam and Jiangnan Iron and Steel Intermodal Project, the storage project of World Bank loan and Three Gorges Logistics and Trade Zone, World Bank Loan and Three Gorges Logistics Intelligent Goods Distribution Center, Logistics Integrated Service Center of the Three Gorges Dam Trading Park, the Storage project of the Three Gorges Dam Area (Maoping) Freight Center, Phase I Project of Qixingtai Port of Zhijiang River.
