On August 28, the reporter learned from the Municipal Green Food Office that up to now, Yichang has had 3 kinds, a total of 485 unpolluted agricultural products, green food, and organic food, including 257 unpolluted agricultural products (certified in previous years), 220 green foods, and 8 organic foods with the total number, quality and speed of development in the forefront in Hubei province. Yichang has built a total of 615,800 mu of green food raw material bases and 550,000 mu of provincial-level green food raw material bases. On this very note, agriculture in Yichang has steadily moved towards green and high-quality development.

　　In recent years, Yichang has fully respected the market demands, let the market guide the transformation and development of agriculture, and promote the acceleration of the eco-agricultural industrial chain. Besides, Yichang adheres to the demonstration and vigorously promote the standardization of green food production, having established 12 green food standardization production demonstration zones, with a total area of nearly 1 million mu. Yichang also vigorously strengthens the brand cultivation of these three kinds of agriculture products, continuously improve the quality and safety, leading its green development. In order to maintain the credibility of product quality, the Municipal Green Office monitors the quality of these three kinds of products to ensure full coverage every two to three years. Driven by the demonstration of enterprises of these three kinds agricultural products, the standardized production of agricultural products in Yichang has continuously reached a new level. In the first half of 2019, 20 green food products were newly certified, and 6 green food production enterprises participated in the green food promotion monthly event held in Jingzhou, and Qingxigou tribute tea of Fengchi and organic green tea became very popular at the exhibition.
