On September 1, the reporter learned from Yichangdong Railway Station that the 2019 summer travel rush officially ended on August 31, and tickets for the National Day holiday were officially on sale.

　　According to statistics, 2.81 million trips starting from Yichangdong Railway Station were made this summer, an increase of 50,000 over last year. Staff of the station reminded that although the summer travel rush is over, the peak flow of return passengers will continue and is expected to end after the Mid-Autumn Festival.

　　According to the pre-sale regulations, tickets for the National Day will be sold from September 2 and the return tickets for October 7will be sold from September 8. Staff reminded that according to travel rules of passengers, the day before and the very day of the National Day are generally the peak period of passenger flow. During the National Day holiday, tickets from Yichang to Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Xi'an, Chengdu and other popular places will be very hard to buy. Passengers who want to travel to these places should buy tickets in advance.
