On September 7, the 2019 rotating chairman meeting of Hubei and Chongqing for tourism cooperation in the Three Gorges Region of the Yangtze River was held in Yichang. The Memorandum on Tourism Cooperation in the Three Gorges area of the Yangtze River in 2019 signed by Hubei and Chongqing, aiming at effectively strengthening the overall planning, jointly improving the quality of tourism development in the Three Gorges area, jointly building the Three Gorges area into the core of the Yangtze River International Gold Tourism Zone.

　　Reportedly, in 2018, the Three Gorges area received 330.4417 million tourists, realizing a total tourism revenue of 274.863 billion yuan. From January to June this year, 172.236 million tourists visited Three Gorges area, and the total tourism revenue reached 144.53 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of more than 21%.

　　Over the past year, to support more than 60 projects of cultural tourism infrastructure in the Three Gorges, Hubei and Chongqing have won 865 million yuan from the central budget and the state special construction fund. Chongqing has allocated 10 million yuan to start the construction of the Three Gorges Tourism Distribution Center, while the Three Gorges Reservoir has invested hundreds of billion yuan in cultural tourism. Hubei has planned 110 major projects with a total investment of 110 billion yuan. Twenty tourism projects along the Yangtze River, such as the Three Gorges International Cruise Center, have been successfully promoted.

　　According to the requirements of the memorandum, Hubei and Chongqing will jointly build the core area of the Yangtze River International Gold Tourism Belt. On the basis of strengthening and creating excellent traditional tourism products, we should further strengthen the construction and cooperation of projects, share project information, and launch a number of new projects such as self-driving tour, film and television tour, Tourism Performing arts, skiing, science examination and low-altitude flight to enrich the tourism format, forming a tourism product system in the Three Gorges area, which takes the natural ecological sightseeing and human sightseeing as the basis, the leisure vacation and folk experience as the main body, and take the scientific exploration, outdoor sports and low-altitude flight as the supplement.

　　The two cities will jointly build pilot zones for the integration and development of cultural and tourism industries. According to the principle of "For those enterprises whenever in proper situation, make the most of joint development", we will strengthen the overall planning of the new round of cultural construction and tourism development in the Three Gorges region, the overall development of the regional culture and tourism resources there, and the exchange and mutual learning between the two pilot parks and pilot bases of cultural industry, promoting the development of a number of creative products embodying the regional characteristics of the Three Gorges of the Yangtze River and forming a number of new creativity -based culture and tourism industries. Through sustained efforts, we strive to make the Three Gorges area a pilot zone for the integration and development of cultural and tourism industries with national influence.

　　The two places will work together to raise the level of cultural and tourism consumption. We will build an integrated and convenient tourism service system, and explore the introduction of a general "Tourism Year Card" system and "E-tourism Card" policy, simultaneously formulating policies such as ticket reduction and exemption, free opening of scenic spots in off-season, discount tickets for performances, and jointly organizing cultural and tourist consumption season and monthly consumption activities.

　　The two places will also jointly promote the cultural and tourism public service. Under the guidance of the Planning of the Comprehensive Three-dimensional Traffic Corridor of the Yangtze River Economic Belt, we are planning to study and propose plans for road construction and transportation service facilities in the coming period and put them into practice. We will also jointly implement publicity and marketing of foreign tourism, explore the establishment of the joint law enforcement mechanism of the cultural market in the Three Gorges area, and jointly maintain a good tourism market environment.(Reporter Gao Wei)
