On September 8, it was learned from Yichang Sanxia Airport that the airport was awarded “The Best Airport in Asia-Pacific Region”, “Airport with Best Environment and Atmosphere”, “Airport with Best Customer Service” and “Airport with Best Infrastructure and Convenience” among the airports with a passenger flow of 2 million to 5 million in 2018 by ACI at the 2018 Global Airport Service Quality (ASQ) Award Ceremony held recently in Indonesia, becoming the first airport in Hubei Province to win such honors.

　　Xu Zuoqiang, board chairman and general manager of Sanxia Airport, said that ACI surveyed by 650,000 questionnaires 376 airports in 90 countries around the world in 2018 on 34 key indicators including check-in, security check, signage and catering of its members. As one of the members, Sanxia Airport has successively introduced a number of convenience measures and featured services to provide passengers from home and abroad humanized travel experience through intelligent technology and personalized services, and thus successfully qualified for the competition and finally won the awards.
