Cool and comfortable weather for travel. Thanks to the 10th China Yangtze Three Gorges International Tourism Festival, Yichang has launched a variety of thematic tourism activities. According to the statistics, Yichang received 24.4439 million domestic and foreign tourists during the Mid-Autumn Festival, an increase of 8.39% over the same period of last year. The total revenue of tourism was 1.204 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 6.22%.

　　During the festival, cultural tourism activities with the theme of "Quyuan" and "Zhaojun" sprang up in tourist destinations and became attractive to tourists. Xingshan County held a series of cultural tourism activities of "Yearning for Zhaojun at Mid-Autumn Festival" and opened the tourism train of "Re-Walking Zhaojun Road". Through holding a series of music festivals, food festivals and other activities, tourists are willing to come and happy to leave with favorite products.

　　In the hometown of Quyuan of Zigui, Quyuan's life stories and classical literature chapters become the tourism mania for a large number of literary lovers. The Qingtan Folklore Museum and three non-relics cultural exhibitions in the scenic area are full of guests every day. Tourists are amazed by the lively and wonderful Zigui folk percussion and exquisite non-relics art exhibits.

　　In addition, many scenic spots have launched the Mid-Autumn Festival -featured activities. The interesting theme park in Tianlongwan Scenic Area in Qingjiang attracts a large number of family groups. The Three Gorges Bamboo Forest Eco-Scenic Area and Zigui County Library jointly organized the Mid-Autumn Festival Activity of "Visiting the Three Gorges Bamboo Forest and Appreciating the Book of Zigui County", such as poem riddles, guessing, gift giving and delicious food tasting and they were very popular among tourists.

Dangyang's Yuquan Flower Appreciation, Yikouyin, Jigongling, Peasant-household tourism are extremely popular. The newly developed areas of Nianziwan and Yushuang win the favor of many visitors, and the Guanju River has attracted a large number of tourists. The Yiling District’s all-aged parent-child amusement park with the theme of outdoor education, Lan Zhimei Children’s Dream Town was opened to the public, with a variety of theme pavilions such as Water Park, Trampoline Park, VR Science Museum, and Happy Farm, bustling and lively. More than 5,000 visitors were received on the opening day.

　　The increasingly improved infrastructure construction and the service level in various scenic spots lead to the increase of a road trip. According to the statistics, tourists who go on a road trip account for 70% of the total.
