On October 8, according to the Yichang Citrus Industry Association that at a recent promotion meeting on citrus products of Yiling district of Yichang, China, held in Moscow, Russia, Hubei XingxiangAgriculturalProducts Professional Cooperative successively signed citrus export agreements with more than 10 merchants including Russia Barista Food Company and PlassmasFruitWholesale Company, totaling 1.19 billion yuan on that day, setting a record for the single export of Yiling Hong tangerine.

　　YegorovAleksei, a representative of Russian merchants and general manager of Diba International Trading Co., Ltd., said that oranges in Russia belong to queen-class fruit. Yiling Hong Yichang tangerine hadthin and juicy skin, delicate flesh, sweet and delicious taste, and wasdeeply loved by the Russian people. He hoped to maintain long-term friendly and cooperative relations with Yichang tangerine. Located in Yiling District, Xingxiang Agricultural Products Cooperative, is the first specialized cooperative economic entity for farmers in Yichang. Up to now, 5,816 citrus farmers have been admitted to the cooperative, and the citrus planting area has been developed to over 50,000 mu, with an annual output of 200,000 tons of citrus.
