It was learned from the Yichang Customs on October 20 that the General Administration of Customs recently releasedThe Announcement of the Adjustment of Imported Bulk Commodities Weight Attestation Method, according to which the Customs will change the weighing method of imported bulk commodity and the weight attestation will be conducted on the basis of enterprise application instead of the current batch-by-batch attestation method from November 1st. The Yichang Customs reminds the cereal and minerals importing enterprises to be informed of policy adjustment and apply for the weight certification as needed, so as to improve the efficiency of their customs clearance.

　　The bulk commodities refer to those kinds of cargoes in large quantity and of the property of commodity that could be bought and sold in non-retailing circulation for the industrial or agricultural use and consumption, mainly including bulk raw materials for industries, agricultural products and energy products.
