On October 21th, It's learned from the press conference of 2019 Generic Drug Development Forum (Yichang,Hubei) that the forum will be held in Yichang from November 7th to 9th. With the theme of "Developing Both Generic and Original Drugs, Promoting a Green and Healthy Life", the forum is jointly sponsored by the Hubei Provincial Food and Drug Administration Bureau and the Yichang People's Government government. In order to achieve the goal of "making a difference, making an influence, making an effect", beside the opening ceremony and the keynote forum, the relevant department also set up special activities such as project signing, consultant hiring, industry converse, entrepreneur forum, academic forum and site inspection and promotion. During the forum, Yichang government will launch systematic promotion measures for the generic pharmaceutical industry, define the development goals and paths, attract high-quality projects to Yichang, and provide fund to support industrial development. At present, preparations for the forum are going well. More than 40 people have been invited as speakers, including academicians of the Chinese Academy of Sciences and the Chinese Academy of Engineering, heads of major national medical associations, the leader of authoritative national medical and economic research institutions, and experts from industry supervision departments. In addition, more than 200 guests have been invited, including more than 30 top scholars from colleges and universities and research institutions, representatives of more than 150 well-known domestic and foreign pharmaceutical enterprises such as Johnson & Johnson, Sinopharm and jiangsu Hengrui, as well as more than 10 business leaders and experts and scholars from Germany, India and Singapore.
