The Wufeng International Ski Resort, the largest and most functional ski resort in Central China, will enter the "2019-2020 ski season" on December 7, according to reporters from the promotion meeting yesterday.

　　The Wufeng International Ski Resort , located in Beifengya forest area, Wantan town, Wufeng Tujia Autonomous County, is invested and constructed by Hubei Wulingshan Tourism Development Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of Xingfa Group,which is a comprehensive large-scale sports tourism project integrating skiing, sightseeing, catering, reception, conference and accommodation.

　　The ski resort covers a total area of 570,000 square meters. In the first phase, there is 1 intermediate run, 3 beginner runs, 2 practice runs, and a 12,000-square-meterpark area for playing snow , which can accommodate 5,000 people at the same time.

　　It was put into operation on December 8 last year and received more than 50,000 tourists in the first skiing season.

　　Another 50 million yuan has been invested in the ski resort this year to build a new Dulingyunding Hotel with 72 guest rooms and suites, which can accommodate 150 people at the same time. The overall style is mainly wild luxury wooden houses and containers, bringing you a new experience of jungle ecological vacation.

　　The Beifengya forest area ,where the ski resort is located, is 2,252 meters above sea level . It is the largest panoramic viewing platform in Hubei province. Within a radius of 20 kilometers, there is the Pingyun Erhai, the Shupingying Alpine Wetland, the Tea Road, the Lijieshan Stone Forest,the ancient village of tea garden and a cross-country circuit.
