On November 13, the reporter learned from the Municipal Bureau of Commerce that up to now, there are more than 8,000 registered e-commerce market entities in Yichang, and 10,308 online stores are involved, ranking the second in Hubeiprovince.

　　In recent years, taking the opportunity of establishing a national e-commerce demonstration city, Yichang has promoted the scale of e-commerce to grow continuously, and the e-commerce industry platform has begun to take shape, with remarkable effect of pilot demonstration. The number of e-commerce practitioners in Yichang is 50,000, and the transaction value of 10 e-commerce enterprises is over 100 million yuan, including 1 national e-commerce demonstration enterprise and 4 provincial e-commerce demonstration enterprises. Yichang has built 13 county-level e-commerce logistics parks, 87 township e-commerce logistics service stations, 1194 village e-commerce logistics service points, 2 provincial demonstration bases, and built an e-commerce logistics service network covering urban and rural areas, taking the lead in realizing the full coverage of e-commerce into rural comprehensive demonstration. There are 14 "Taobao villages" and 3 "Taobao towns" in Yichang, of which the total number of "Taobao villages" accounts for two-thirds of Hubei province, ranking first in Hubei.
