On December 27, the LaunchingCeremony of the "People Nebula Project"and Press Conference of "PeopleⅠ" Satellite released news that the "Zigui Navel Orange"satellite,jointly named by the countyand People Data,is expected to be launchedin July next year. "Zigui Navel OrangeⅠ"enables satellite remote sensing for Zigui navel orange planting and will greatly help the water conservancy ecological monitoring and treatment in the Yangtze River basin.

　　It is reported that the People Nebula Project was jointly developed by PeopleData and ABDAS Space Information Technology Co, Ltd. It is a satellite and big data whole industrial chain project integrating "satellite research, development and assembly, satellite monitoring and data reception, exclusive constellation customizationand remote sensing information services".

　　Cooperation between People Data andZigui county will create a Zigui Navel Orange Big Data Centerproviding “allfields, all weather, all day, all elements, full scaleand visualization”monitoring. The center will conductreal-time monitoring and early prediction of navel orange industrial chainto ensure quality and safety trace-ability, as well as to promote the sustainableand healthy development of the industry and brand building. At the same time, it will also provide accurate satellite remote sensing big data services and application solutions for related fields in Yichang such as agriculture, forestry, water conservancy, natural resources supervision, emergency management, ecological environment, rural revitalization and the smart city construction.
