Recently, a batch of “made-in Yichang” medical protective suitsdepartfrom Yichang high-tech zone to Shanghai Pudong Airport and will bedeliveredto Italywith China's medical teamto help combatthe novelcoronavirus.
At 9 a.m. on Mar.12, Huaqiang High-tech co., Ltdreceived a notice from the China South Industries Group co.,Ltdto donate 1,000 medical protective suits to the Red Cross Society of China. Upon receipt of the notice, Huaqiang High-tech co., Ltdimmediately sterilized, packaged and casedthe medical protective suits, but cannot transport them because of traffic control. Huaqiang High-tech co., Ltd then instantly contacted vehiclesthrough logistics companies, appointed transport personnel and got the traffic passissued. The donated medical protective suits were sent outat 2 p.m. that day and arrived at Shanghai Pudong Airport on the morning of Mar.13.
“These 1,000 medical protective suits are donated to the Red Cross Society of China. At present, we are fully engaged in the production of epidemic prevention and control materials to contribute to the anti-epidemic work as much as we can.”Hua Qiang’s chairman Wang Dongmin said.
