On March 31, the 2020 Yichang AgritourismResumption Ceremony and the Promotion of Boutique Lines were launched at Tongxin Huahai in Zhijiang, and 20 agritourismlineswere released, providing more choices for citizens to visit the countryside throughout the year. Yuan Weidong, deputy secretary of the CPC Yichang Committee, anddeputy mayors Liu Hongfu, Liu Fenglei attended the ceremony.

　　In recent years, the city has accelerated the development of agritourismand the entire industry has shown a good trend of "optimized layout, improved quality, expanded fieldsand vigorous development". In 2019, the city's various types of agritourismbusiness entities reached 4,900, receivingnearly 21 million tourists, obtaining 2.2 billion yuan’srevenue,employing66,700 people and benefiting55,000 farmers.

　　At present, thecity has twonational agritourismand villagetourism demonstrationcounties－Yuan'an county and Yiling District, oneagritourism and village tourism demonstration site－Anfu Taoyuan. In addition, it boasts 3 China’s most beautiful leisure villages－Qinglong village in Yiling district, Quanxinfan village in Yidu, Guanmiaoshan village in Zhijiang. The city has built25 provinciallevel and 95 municipallevel agritourismand villagetourism demonstration sites.Yidu and Ziguihave beenselected by the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs as boutique destinations ofagritourismand villagetourism.
