On April 21, it was learned from the Vehicle Administration Office of the Traffic Police Detachment of the Yichang Municipal Public Security Bureau that the driving test will resume on May 6, and the applicants may schedule the test online in advance and attend the test with their ID cards and the messages of successul scheduling at the designated driving test sites on time.

　　During the period of COVID-19 pidemic, the driving test of Yichang City has been suspended since January 23. According to Zhang Yaoqing, deputy director of the Municipal Vehicle Administration Office, the driving test will completely resume on May 6 after authorization by the superior organs, in compliance with the policies and arrangements of the COVID-19 Prevention and ControlHeadquartersofYichangCity. The authorized numbers of all kinds of test applicants of May were released on the TrafficSafetyIntegratedManagement Platform on April 20, and the applicants can apply for the test throughthe website http://hb.122.gov.cn/or the mobile phone APP of “12123”.

　　It was learned that 1283 applicants of C-level, 51 applicants of subject II and 35 subject III tests of A-level and B-level tests are authorized in total for all the driving test sites of the whole city every day after May 6, including the driving test sites of the the urban county-ship districts and 9 counties. The information of test application will be released on the 12123 Platform and the applicants can schedule the tests on lineaccording to their demands and preference. In addition, the Vehicle Administration Office will assign the authorized numbers of test applicants for each driving test sites on the internet 10 days in advance so that applicants can arrange their time and scheduling appropriately.
