On May 8, it was learned from the Municipal Bureau of Science and Technology that three fresh mass-innovation spaces of Yichang city were recognized by the Ministry of Science and Technology, including the Students Office & Venture Office of Zhijiang County, the Zuisanxia Mass-innovation Space and the TusStar (Yichang) Base, and the number of the national mass-innovation spaces in Yichang adds up to 8 at present.

　　The Students Office & Venture Office in Zhijiang County, which is characterized by “Internet plus and cultural innovation”, has recruited 29 entrepreneurial teams and 150 innovation-makers. Zuishanxia Mass-innovation Space located in Yiling Area owns 59 incubated enterprises, and it has establisheda model of “simultaneous incubation and recruitment” to provide combined services of innovation, employment and incubation for small and micro businesses. The TusStar (Yichang) Base co-created by the TusStar and the High-tech Zone has absorbed 74 startup enterprises and 20 entrepreneurial teams. The total registered capital of all the enterprises in this incubator has surpassed 2.73 billionyuan, and the intellectual property rights reaches 53 in total. In addition, it furnishes employment to more than670 people.

　　As is introduced, Yichang city now boasts of 45 incubators or mass-innovation spaces of different levels and 1400 incubated enterprises, which provided more than 13 thousand employment opportunities and laid a foundation for high-end and emerging technology industries centering on electronic engineering, IT, high-end equipment manufacturing, bioengineering and pharmaceutical industry.
