Recently, the State Council approved the establishment of cross-border e-commerce comprehensive pilotzonesin 46 cities and areasincluding Xiongan New Area, and Yichang wasthe only selected city across the Hubei province.

　　The construction of cross-border e-commerce comprehensive pilot zonesneeds to be in accordance with the decisions and arrangements made by the Party Central Committee and the State Council. Mature experiences and practices of the first four batches of comprehensive experimental zones are to be copied forindustrial transformation and upgradingand brand building. Guidance should be given to these zones for their overall growthand relentless efforts should be made to stabilize the base of foreign trade and investment and boost high quality developmentof trade. On top of that, pilot tasks should be specified with highlighted focuses and innovation-driven strategy. Thedecisive role of market in resource allocation should be givenfull play to guide the effective allocation of social resources and properdistribution of public resources forthe construction of comprehensive pilot zones.
