The result of Hubei financial ecology index assessment in 2019 was released recently, and Yichang, honored as the “city of financial credit of Hubei” with the comprehensive score of 92.59, took the top spot in the whole province.

　　Financial ecology refers to the financial operation situation and the external development environment of a region. The officer of the Municipal Bureau of Financial Affairs introduced that Hubei Province classifies the general index of financial ecology index and the five subindices of environment (the cultivation, promotion, platform, use and maintenance of credit) into four levels of A, B, C and D according to the scores out of one hundred. The nine assessed districts of Yichang all ranked A, with a year-on-year rise of 6 places in terms of the comprehensive score.

　　Yichang got full marks with regard to the important index of “credit cultivation”. In 2018, two enterprises of Yichang were listed after IPO (Initial Public Offering), of which Allmed Medical Products Corp. was listed in March in Shenzhen Stock Exchange, recording the first A-share listed company of Yichang in the last 7 years. In addition, Hubei Heyuan Gas Corp. is the trail-blazer of the listed firm from a national poverty-stricken county in Hubei.

　　Besides, Yichang garnered high scores in the enforcement rate of successful cases of financial creditor’s right, which is a significant indicator in the evaluation. In order to provide judicial guarantee for the steady development of financial markets, Yichang city actively explored the new measures for the improvement of financial industry, safeguarded the legitimate rights and interests of creditors of financial assets. Amid that, a dispute over a financial loan contract that owned 7 million yuan of principal and interests for nearly five years was adjudicated in last March.

　　The city’s banking financial institutions deposit and loans were 389,877 billion yuan and the 353,598 billion yuan respectively as of the end of last December, with major indicators all taking the first places among the same-level cities in Hubei.
