40 Bus Lines to Be Adjusted

  On May 18, with the junior graduate students resuming classes, Yichang Public Transport Group (YCPTG) plans to adjust 40 bus lines. Based on the optimization of operation in earlier stages, the authority is to beef up the input of bus capacity, including extending the running time, increasing the frequency in rush hours and shortening the interval in non-rush hours of departure as well as raising the daily frequency of buses. Most routes have been reverted to the normality so far.

  B1 will start at 5:30 am and end at 21:40 pm with the unchanged departure interval in rush hours, shortened interval of 6 to 8 mins in non-rush hours and 160 departure times a day; B9 is to start at 5:30am and end at 21:30 pm with the departure interval shorten to 3 mins in rush hours, 4 to 7 mins in non-rush hours and 180 departure times a day; Bus No.2 is scheduled to start at 5:30 am and end at 22:00 with the interval of 5 mins in rush hours and shortened timespan of 8 to 10 mins in non-rush hours.

  B6 from the development zone to the central city is going to start at 5:50 am and end at 21:00 pm, with the departure interval shortened to 7 to 10 mins in peak time and 10 to 16 in off-peak time; Bus No.12 is projected to shorten the blanking time to 5 mins in peak hours and 8 to 13 mins in off-peak hours, with a daily departure of 144 times. B100 from Yiling district to central area is expected to start at 5:00 am and end at 21:30 pm, with its interval in peak time shortened to 3 to 5 mins and 6 to 8 mins in off-peak time as well as 133 times in all a day.
