On May 18, 40 projects in the Huanbailihuang Rural Rejuvenation Pilot Zone Rim of Yichang City wereput into construction, with a total investment of 9.605 billion yuan. The pilot zonewas set up in October 2019, coveringa total area of 769.03 square kilometers, with a population of91,800 in 42 villages of 6 townshipswithinYiling District, Yuan'an County and Dangyang City.

　　The Yiling Area Project is designed to create a mode of "One zone plustwo belts and multiple parks." To be specific, the zone refers tothe Bailihuang National Tourism Resort to be built includingsubprojects such as upgrading and ecological rehabilitation of Bailihuang Scenic Spot,with an investment of 600 million yuan. The “Two belts” stand forthe Huangbaihe Eco-economic Beltand the Bailinhe Eco-economic Belt, coveringvarious subprojects such as the high-standard farmland improvement in the basin, the channel management of Puxi River, the construction of a hot spring town and the Songbai Road reconstruction, with an investment of 610 million yuan. "Multiple parks" includes the building of Comprehensive Industrial Park of the Three Gorges Herbivore Animal Husbandry, Yichang Orange Deep Processing and Storage Logistics Park and other projects, with an investment of 5.35 billion yuan.

　　Dangyang Area Project, with its office in YuquanCity, involving7 villages with an investment of 1.74 billion yuan,includes 14 subprojects such as the 276 provincial highway reconstruction project, the Logistics Park Center and Sturgeon Industrial Park in Sanqiao Village, and the Bailihuang Tourist Reception Center or tourist station in Dangyang,in addition to the completed environmental improvement project along the Dangyang North Expressway toll station to the junction of Dangyang and Yuan’an, and the Baibaozhai Hongguotan Camping and BBQ Base.

　　Yuan'an AreaProject, withan investment of 1.305 billion yuan, includesthe rebuilding ofthe highway between Hualin Temple to National Pool, the second phase construction of Jinjiawan Scenic Zone and that of Pangjiawan Home-hotel and the building of the Taiqing Cave Scenic Zoneand Luojiayuan Vegetable Base.
