150,000 Tons of Spring Tea and Lunwan Navel Orange in Yichang Sold out

  30,400 tons of Yichang spring tea has been basically sold out up to now, which yields the output value of 2.24 billion yuan; 116,000 tonsof Lunwan Navel Orange has been sold, accounting for 95.7% of the total 121,400 tons in Yichang, and the end of sales ontwo key seasonal agricultural products—the Spring Tea and the Lunwan Navel Orange shows that Yichang has triumphedover the impact of theepidemicandwonthe battle of selling agricultural products, according to information from the Municipal Bureau of Agriculture on June7.

  Yichang spring tea, Zigui Lunwan Navel Orange and other agricultural products, which usually sell well both at home and abroad, are all unsalable after theoutbreakof the epidemic. For this reason Yichang ramps up multi-channel efforts to encourage “Order for Love”, and their sales gradually improve.

  Yichang actively endeavors to launch relative policies for stimulating tea consumption while seizing the opportunity of poverty alleviation via consumption and “Supporting Plan for Hubei”by the central governmentand earnestly collecting purchasing information of organs at all levels within and outside Hubeiprovince, enterprises and institutions and some social groups to promote rapid cooperation with relative enterprises.Besides, Yichang gets closer with other nationwide associations, chambers of commerce and pairing assistanceprovinces to boost the export of tea. There are hot sales inmajor shopping malls, supermarkets and their online malls because of the newly introduced spring tea—“Bai Yuan Hui”(¥100)and some poverty alleviation activities via tea consumption. Moreover, party and government officialsin many places and tea-enterprise leaders also joinlivestudios to be “salesmen” toexpand online sales of spring tea.

  Agricultural products are sold in the “fastest” way in virtue of the most “popular” pattern. The BESTORE, which is a high-end snack leader in Hubei, has been helping to sell the Zigui Navel Orange for free for two consecutive months via its Wechat Public Account,Wechat Malland other online sales platforms. The price of navel orange continues to climb owing to the combination of production and marketing between key business circulation and logistics express enterprises to Zigui and some new shopping modes such as Direct Selling, Group-Buying and Intra-City Delivery.
