From May 19 to June 23, 30 large cultural and entertainment venues in the urban areas wereinspected thoroughly and repeatedlyfor the purpose of epidemic prevention and control by Yichang Health and Family Planning Comprehensive Supervision and Enforcement Bureau, together with the city’sCultural Tourism Bureau and the Market Supervision Bureau. And special inspections were carried outofthe 28 entertainment centers that have already restored their operation.

　　The inspection is mainly meant to examinethe implementation of epidemic prevention and control measures by theentertainmentvenues, specifically to check theircustomer entry registration charts, theircleaning and disinfection records of central air-conditioning and public supplies, the number of people in boxes, epidemic prevention reminder signs, etc., as well as to offer on-site guidance on the setupof temporary settlements for fevered customers, relevant disposal and reporting, and emergency plan drills, etc.

　　It turned out that the operatingentertainmentcentershave shown a strong awareness of epidemic prevention and control and the requiredmeasures have beenbasically implemented, but some problems have been found with some centers, such asincomplete temperature-monitoring registration and cleaning records of central air-conditioning system. Furthermore there are still hidden dangers with theirrestricted access and indoor ventilation.The law-enforcement personnel therefore provided guidance on the spot and urged them to immediate rectification.
