On July 2, in accordance with the arrangement of the Yichang COVID-19 Epidemic Prevention and Control Headquarters, Yichang Market Supervision Bureau and the Health Commission sent technicians to conduct a sampling of seafood products, fresh water products, meat and livestock stalls，cutting boards, knives, countertops and sinks of 2 farm product markets, 3 supermarkets and 2 eating places, and collected a total of 58 samples, consisting of 49 environmental samples and biological samples, and 9 employee samples, the results of all which proved negative after a nucleic acid test of new coronavirus.

　　The environmental sampling and testing started on June 13th and continued for 20 days.The sampled itemsare susceptible to new coronavirus contamination.

　　By July 2, 129 supermarkets, 86 farm product markets,136 eating places and 4 other places within the jurisdiction of the city were sampled, and a total of 4020 environmental and biological samples, and 2109 employeesamples were collected, and theirtest results are all negative.
