On July 12, in line with the arrangement of Yichang Epidemic Prevention and Control Headquarters of COVID-19, the Municipal Health Commission led professionals to 4 supermarkets and 2 farmers’ markets for sampling on chopping boards, knives, countertops, pools and some foods at stallsfor seafood products, freshwater products, meat, livestockand poultry products. A total of 61 samples were collected, including 35 environmental samples and 26 biological samples,for nucleic acid detection of novelcoronavirus. The results were all negative.

　　Since June 13, our city has been sampling and testing the environmental samples from supermarkets and farmers’ markets for 30 consecutive days.The sampling range covers from farmers’ market, supermarketsto comprehensive medical institutions, community health service centers, bus stops, express delivery stations, public toilets and sewage treatment plants, etc.

　　Up to July 12^th, 159 supermarkets,94 farmers’ markets,151 restaurants,onecomprehensive medical institution,onecommunity health service center and 5 other places have been sampled. A total of 4,573 environmental and biological samplesand 2,164 employee samples have been collected and tested, the results of nucleic acid detection of novelcoronavirus are all negative.
