On July 18, “Cruising Three Gorges, Visiting Badong” has been launched jointly by Badong Cultural and Tourism Bureau, Three Gorges Tourism Service Center, Cultural Industry Co., Ltd of Yichang Traffic Tourism Group and Hubei Gaoxiapinghu Yacht Co., Ltd. The tourist line went from Yichang Taipingxi port and started a new journey of regional cooperation for Yichang and Badong.

　　On the morning of that day, more than 200 tourists took the cruise ship 3 upstream to have a panoramic view of the magnificent Xiling Gorge, admire the majestic Three Gorges Dam, experience the time-honored boat tracker culture of Shennongxi and appreciate folk customs of the fairyland in Helian Gorge.

　　It is reported that governments of Yichang and Badong use their respective advantages to jointly launch the new cruise line in order to implement relevant policies of the Provincial Party Committee and Provincial government to accelerate the revitalization of cultural tourism industry. The preliminary design takes Taipingxi port of Yichang as the departure port and Badong Port as the destination, connecting core cultural and tourism products of two places in a line. In the future, various routes will be launched in succession, so as to achieve mutual complementation of cultural and tourism product resources and delivery of customers.

　　Wang Ping, chairman of Cultural Industry Co., Ltd of Yichang Traffic Tourism Group, introduces that this is another exploration of deepening cultural tourism cooperation between Yichang and Badong since they jointly issued Three Gorges Tourism annual card. The launch of cruise line not only enriched products of Three Gorges Tourism annual card and Badong Tourism annual card, providing a new way of traveling for toutists, but also further expanded connotation and extension of Western Hubei ecological tourism circle, promoting tourism annual card from Yichang to Three Gorges.
