The intense heat has caused a continuous slide in the number of blood donors. As the diagnosis and treatment in the hospital has been brought back to normal, clinical blood demand has rocketed, causing a dire need of voluntary blood donation. In order to meet the clinical blood demand of Yichang and make it easier for people to donate blood , Yichang Municipal Blood Center adjusted the concepts and working hours on time. With the strong support of relevant departments, Yichang's first night-shift blood donation busis accessible to the public from July 17 at the south gate of Grand Ocean inCBD, Yichang from 16:00 to 20:30 every Monday to Sunday. It’s a new service mode of blood donation.

　　According to the requirements of epidemic prevention and control, Yichang Municipal Blood Center will continue to implement rigorous disinfection in terms of blood collection equipment, surface of articles, air and hands of staffs in blood donation vehicles, so as to ensure the health and safety of blood donorsin all links.
