It islearned on August 13 that the Yichang Olympic Sports Center Gymnasium is open to the public for free every morning fromMonday to Friday.
The Olympic Sports Center received1,100 people for freeon the All-round Fitness Dayon August 8.And then, the gymnasium and the outdoor tennis courts will be open to the public for free or at a very low fee. The courts for air volleyball, badminton, and table tennis will be free of chargeevery morning fromMonday to Friday.Every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 8:30 to 17:00, senior citizens and studentscan have free use of the courts with their personal ID cards; so can the disabled with certificates every Tuesday and Thursday from 8:30 to 17: 00. Within every period of the opening time, only 100 people are allowed to enter the gym;reservationand registration are required.
It’s reported that the sports center will bethe main venue for the 16th Hubei Olympic Games in 2022. So far, the gym and the shooting hall in Olympic Sports Center have been put into use，while the construction of the stadium, the tennis &badminton centerand the swimming pool iscoming to an end, and is expected to be completed within this year.
