Yichang Customs Expanding the Scope of Origin Credit Visa

　　"In the past, the certificate of origin could only be processedafter you took two round trips, and now it can be printed without leaving home." On September 1, Ding Li, Foreign Trade Specialist of the Import and Export Division of Hubei Concord Konjac Biotechnology Co., Ltd., received a blank certificate of origin with a customs pre-signed stamp inYichangCustoms comprehensive servicewindow.

　　This convenient measure was previously only available to advanced certified companies. Now, 37 general certified companies in Yichang jurisdiction can also easily enjoy it.

　　In July this year, Wuhan Customs issued the "Action Plan for Optimizing Port Business Environment and Promoting Stabilization of Foreign Trade and Foreign Investment in 2020", and launched 50 measures to benefit enterprises at one time, including expandingthe scope of high-credit enterprises with visas of origin, promoting credit manage visas, and buildinga three-in-one integrated model of origin certificate application of "home application + multi-point self-service printing + window mailing", so that general certification companies can also enjoy convenient policies.

　　In August, under the joint promotion of Wuhan Customs Customs Department and Yichang Customs, foreign trade enterprises in Yichang area responded positively and submitted the "Application Form for the Management of High Credit Enterprises Applicable to Export Origin Visas." After being approved and reported to the customs office for the record, the enterprise can enjoy the pre-signed facilitation service provided by the customs.

　　"Customs provides pre-signed stamps, which reduces the visa process, saves time for enterprises, and maximizes the convenience of enterprises," Gong Guoxiang, director of Yichang Customs and Secretaryof the Party Committeetold reporters. More importantly, this experience can be replicated to more than 70% in the certificate processing, each certificate processing can save at least 8 hours of time and cost.
