On August 26, Ministry of Culture and Tourism, NDRC(National Development and Reform Commission) jointly announced that 680 villages are listed as the second batch of national key villages for rural tourism and seven villages are from Yichang. They’re Xujiachong Village from Taiping Town, Yiling District; Zhengjiabang Village from Longzhouping Town, Changyang County; Xilingxia Village from Quyuan Town, ZiguiCounty; Qinlingsi Village from Gaoba Town, Yidu City; Qinlong Village from Longquan Town, Yiling District; Baiyanping Village from Changleping Town, Wufeng County; Quanxinban Village from Zhicheng Town, Yidu City.

　　In accordance with “the Tourism Development Plan in the 13th Five-year Plan (2016-2020)” and “State Council on Promoting Rural Industries Guidance” and other documents, establishment of national key villages for rural tourism list is requested. Based on selections and recommendations of local governments, Ministry of Culture and Tourism and NDRC (National Development and Reform Commission) decide that 680 villages such as: Beijing Mentougou District Zhaitang Town Cuandixia Township, can be included in the national key villages for rural tourism list after experts’ reviews and disclosure.
