It is expected to enter the construction phase on November 15 this year.

　　The line between Yichang and Zhengzhou-Wanzhou high-speed railway, a "13th Five-Year Plan" project, is a major project to implement the development strategy of the Yangtze River Economic Belt. Starting from Yichang East Station, the railway connects to Xingshan Station of Zhengzhou-Wanzhou High-speed Railway via Yiling District and Xingshan County with a total length at 108.5 kilometers. On estimate it is to be completed in 5 years.
