It was learned from the Municipal Finance Bureau on Nov. 9 that the “Comprehensive Demonstration Project of Rural Green Revitalization Leading Area in the Yangtze River Economic Belt” declared by our city has been formally incorporated into the Asian Development Bank’s alternative project plan from 2020 to 2022, with a loan amount of $200 million.

　　To construct a comprehensive demonstration project of green revitalization in Yichang villages, the project focuses on green revitalization in five areas: industrial upgrading, supporting system, ecological management, human settlement environment and cultural prosperity, complete with a series of safeguard measures for green revitalization. It includes five specific sub-projects: watershed demonstration zone project, characteristic demonstration town project, industrial demonstration area project, beautiful demonstration village project, and capacity building project.

　　According to reports, ADB will add 8 National alternative projects from 2020 to 2022, with a total loan amount of $1.6 billion; three of them are for rural revitalization, with a $550 million loan; Yichang has been granted a loan of $200 million, accounting for 12.5% of the total.
