Xingshan County and Wufeng Tujia Autonomous County have been entitledthe “China’s Natural Air Anion Bar in 2020” by the Public Meteorological Service Center of China Meteorological Administration (CMA).
After official launch of the program in 2016, which was organized by the Center, 115 regions and units have been awarded the title. The appellation can be declared in regions that meet following basic requirements: 1. Annual climate comfort of human living environment reaches ‘comfortable’ in no less than 3 months; 2. The annual average concentration of negative oxygen ion is no less than 1000/cm3; 3. The annual average AQI index is no more than 100; 4.
