It was learned from theYichang Municipal Culture and Tourism Bureauon November 12 that the 6th Three Gorges Super Cross-countryRace will be held duringthe period from November 26 to 28.

　　According to the relevant person in charge of Dalian North Outdoor Sports Co., Ltd., the organizer of the event, the 6th Three Gorges Super Cross-country Raceconsists ofthree programs: the 175-kilometer full race, the 108-kilometer half race and the 50-kilometer race, and the route covers Yiling District, Zigui County and Xiling District, including three5A scenic spots, such as the Three Gorges Tribe Scenic Area and the Three Gorges Dam, as well as six4A scenic spots, including the Three Gorges Bamboo Sea Scenic Area. The total number of participants is expected to be around 600. The raceswillstart respectively fromthe same points as last year, namely the Peace Park in Yichang City and the Quyuan Temple Square in Zigui Country, andend at the Quyuan Temple Square in Zigui.

　　Since the arrangements of race routes and race services have been improved and optimized greatlyafter exploration and adjustment in races of last years, the races of this year will follow the overall arrangement of the fifth races, no change to the race routes and supply points, except for addition of50-kilometerand 10-kilometertrial racesto meet the needs of novice off-roaders and outdoor sports enthusiasts.
