From November 7th to 9th, in accordance with the arrangement of the Yichang COVID-19 Epidemic Prevention and Control Headquarters and the requirements of normalized and precise prevention and control, the municipal health department organized a sampling of 33 catering places, 39 supermarkets, 11 farm product markets, 6 comprehensive hospitals, 16 community health service centers(township health centers), 9 transit stations, 7 transportation vehicles, 18 express delivery sites, 3 sewage treatment plants, 6 public toilets, 11 other institutions, and seafood products, fresh water products from 19 cold chain food companies, and collected a total of 4420 samples, consisting of 4150 environmental and biological samples, and 270 employees’ samples, the results of all which proved negativein thenucleic acid detection for coronavirus.
The environmental sampling and testing ofsupermarkets and farm product markets within the jurisdiction started on June 13th and continued for 150 days in the city, focusingon the test of environmental and biological samplesfromcold storages, cold chain logistics, cold chain food, etc., andrelevantemployees.
By November 9,a total of 618 places related to cold storage and cold chain logistics, 266 comprehensive medical institutions, 343 community health service centers, 479 farm product markets, 726 supermarkets, 513 restaurants, 247 public transport vehicles and 175 transport stations, 203 public toilets, 147 sewage treatment plants, 273 express delivery sites have been randomly sampled, with a total of 63244 environmental and biological specimens, and 7477 from the employeesthere, and the test results are all negative.
