OneA320-200 aircraftbuilt by Airbus had been sent to the hangar of Bedek Lingyun (Yichang) Aircraft Maintenance Engineering Co., Ltd.（BELINCO）in Xiaoting District for dismantlingfor the first time on the morning of November 18th, marking that Lingyun Civil Aviation has found its way into businesses regarding aircraft dismantling and aviation materials sales, in addition to services like regular inspection and spraying, thus further expandingitsbusiness domain.

　　It is the first time for BELINCOand Xiamen Lufu Aircraft Leasing Co.,Ltd.to dismantlean aircrafttogether, which is projected to last 30 days.The aircraft, which came into service over 22 years, will be dismantled into many parts including its engine, auxiliary power unit and nacellesand numerous electronic components. The aircraft dismantling is an emerging industry in China.At present, only enterprises in Beijing, Nantong, and Harbin have professional capabilities of dismantling aircrafts.

　　According to Chen Wei, deputy director of the Administration of Civil Aviation of China(CAAC)of Central and Southern China, aircraft dismantling is of great significance for maximizing the value of aviation assets, breaking the monopoly of OEM in aviation materialssales, and accelerating the construction of the Three Gorges Airport Economic Zone, whose business development will inject a strong impetus into its follow-up activities.(Reporter YuanJing, correspondentTan Xuejiao, Fang Liang)
