It is learnt from Hubei Enrollment Office on February 4 that five types of candidates can be given bonus points for their total scores in the 2021college entrance examination, and six types of candidates can be given priority for admission of college when all other conditions are equal to others. In 2021, the admission priority program should be applied online from Feb. 18 to 28. Overdue applications will not be accepted.

　　Bonus points will be give to: 1. Ethnic minority candidates in ethnic minority populated areas. The ethnic minority populated areas in Hubei include Enshi City, Lichuan City, Jianshi County, Badong County, Xuan’en County, Xianfeng County, Laifeng County and Hefeng County administered by Enshi Tujia and Miao Autonomous Prefecture, as well as Changyang Tujia Autonomous County and Wufeng Tujia Autonomous County of Yichang City. 2. Chlidren of martyrs. 3. Ex-servicemen candidates who have been honored with a second-class merit citation (or above), or awarded honorary titles by war zones (or above), former major military regions, during their service. 4. Candidates of returned overseas Chinese, children of returned overseas Chinese, children of overseas Chinese and Taiwan nationality (including Taiwan household registration). 5. Candidates of self-employment ex-soldiers.

　　In addition, six types of candidates, including ethnic minority candidatesscattered in Han Chinese and ex-servicemen candidates,can be given priority for admission of college when all other conditions are equal to others.
