The reporter learned from Yichang East Station on February 17 that from February 11(Chinese New Year’s Eve) to February 17(the sixth day of the first lunar month), the station sent about 48,000 passengers while doing its best to prevent and control the pandemic,about 30% of the same period in previous years.
On February 17, the last day of the Spring Festival holiday, Yichang East Station experienced a post-holiday peak, sending nearly 17,500 passengers.
The station officials said that the “one-day-one-map” will be flexible arrangements for train operation on the line, and trains will be added in time to the Han-Yi Railway where the passengers is relatively concentrated to facilitate their travel.
