The 2021 Yichang Cultural and Natural Heritage Day and Dragon Boat Festival Experience Activities will be held by Yichang IntangibleCulturalHeritage ProtectionCenter and Yichang Museum of Art on June 12, and it will create a thick social atmosphere for the protection of intangible cultural heritage, preservation and inheritance of fine traditional Chinese culture through traditional recreational activities to better meet cultural needs of the people, protect and inherit local customs in Dragon Boat Festival.（Reporter Wang Ying,correspondent Liu Changmei）

　　Traditional amusement shows are expected to be held in the squareof Yichang Museum of Art on June 12.Branches of moxa and intangible cultural heritage brochures will be distributed to local residents. A backdrop featuring the Dragon Boat Festival is set up on the west side of the gate for citizens to take pictures. Moreover, the exhibition and promotion of traditional craft products of intangible cultural heritage is on the first floor, including Zhengxinji Cold Shrimp, Granny Wu Pastry, Huang’s Preserved Meat and Granny Ma Chili Pickle Sauce. The custom experience area of making Zongzi is provided for citizens gratis (homemade Zongzi can be taken away), and each person is allowed to make five Zongzi.

　　The shadow play hallis on the fifth floor. visitors can watch live performanceby shadow play inheritors,learn to manipulatethe shadowpuppets andplay percussion instruments. Professional art teachers thereteach how to make shadowpuppets, and each child (under 14 years old) is allowedto take awayonly one DIYshadow puppet. Anexhibitionis set up to showimages or texts about intangible cultural heritageprotection achievements.

　　The sachet custom experience room is on the sixth floor. It offers experience for citizens gratis(filling thesachetwith five scented herbal medicines), and each person is allowed to make onefree sachet to take away. The citizenscan experience free Yiling printmaking, and each person is allowed to experienceonceand take away one homemadeprint. In the tea room on the sixth floor, people can enjoytea art performancesand taste free tea, Zongzi, salted eggsandpreserved eggs. At the same time, intangible cultural heritage knowledge match game will be released in Yichang Digital Platform for Public Culture.
