On June 23, the first exhibition hall of “Fighting as aWhole” for commemorating the battle against the COVID-19 was officially opened at the Third People’s Hospital of Yichang. The hall is instructed by the Working Committee directly under the authority of the city and constructed by the Yichang Municipal Health Commission and the Third People’s Hospital of Yichang. It will serve as the tenth base for political party spirit education of CPC in the city.

　　The exhibition hall covers an area of 320 square meters and is divided into 18 units with 6 themes, including preface and revitalization of high-quality development after the pandemic, etc. A total of more than 100 physical entities and 200 pictures are exhibited to reproduce Yichang’s thrilling course of fighting againstthe pandemic in a chronological manner. The exhibition hall adopts video, pictures, physical entities, scenes restoration and other forms of exhibits, integrating visits, real scenes, experiences, interactions and education. There are physical entities such as touching front-line petitions, diaries, and record of the first confirmed case of the COVID-19, as well as anti-pandemic-themed art works like music and poems coming from the society. The hall is also designed and produced with scenes such as “ICU ward”, “party branch under the tent” and “countermarch rescue” to give visitors a sense of reenactment.(Reporter Ruan Zhongmo, Correspondent Chen Juan)
