　　This year, the favorable rainfalland constant improvement of farmland management of orchard production has led to a high-quality production of citrus in Yichang, of which the production and marketing situation is expected to be stable and sound. In promote the high-quality production and sales of citrus of the whole city, the Municipal Bureau of Agriculture and Rural Affairs has made greatefforts to providetechnical guidance for fruit farmersin citrus variety introduction and improvement as well as cultivation, to promote the techniques of delayed plucking and standardized harvest as well as citrus grading to ensurefruitquality in all aspects, and to implementproduction and marketing connection through variousactivities betweenlocalities and the associationsof citrus industry for multi-channel and all-round promotion to establish and further popularize the brand ofYichang citrus.
