The publicity events on thethird Yangtze Finless Porpoise Conservation Day were organized in Yichang on October 24. Wu Minglu, secretary general of China Wildlife Conservation Association, and Li Yanliang, president of Aquatic Wildlife Conservation Association Branch, attended the meeting and delivered speeches.

　　The events included a theme discussion under the concept of “lucid waters and lush mountains are invaluable assets” and the model of finless porpoise conservation, story sharing of patrol assistants, display on cultural and creative products of finless porpoise, and the opening ceremony of the documentary “Conserving the Yangtze Finless Porpoise” was held, as well as passing the flag of the next Yangtze Finless Porpoise Conservation Day to Jiangxi Province. On the same day, the participants also visited and learned about the work of the finless porpoise patrol assistant team of the municipal administration supervision detachment on fishery.
