　　According to a person in charge of the city’s CDC, vaccination of children and adolescents is of great significance, whether from the perspective of reducing the risk of personal infection or preventing virus transmission. The 3 to 11-year-old population would be vaccinated in accordance with the principle of “Voluntarily receive free vaccination upon notification and consent”, and those who are physically qualified should be vaccinated as soon as possible.

　　Currently, the vaccines approved for emergency use in China for people aged 3 to 11 are COVID-19 inactivated vaccines from Sinopharm Zhongsheng Beijing Company, Kexing Zhongwei, and Sinopharm Zhongsheng Wuhan Company. The vaccination includes 2 doses, with 3 weeks or more as recommended interval, and the second dose should be completed within 8 weeks after the first one.
