On February 26, the list of the first batch of pilot colleges for the Sino-German Advanced Vocational Education(SGAVE)of the Ministry of Education was released. Hubei Three Gorges Polytechnic, as the only higher vocational college selected in Yichang, declared that the mechatronics technology program will carry out pilot work for the field of intelligent manufacturing and carry out in-depth international exchangesof related professions.

　　The Sino-German Advanced Vocational Education is jointly implemented by the Ministry of Education and the leading enterprises in the European countries with advanced vocational education models such as Germany. It aims to select a group of SGAVE colleges and carry out pilot projects in four fields including automobiles and automobiles (new energy). Based on the “Dual Education System” in Germany, the pilot colleges will construct the talents training system in automobile, intelligent manufacturingand other fields suitable for China.

　　Withthe international exchange platform of the project pilot colleges, Hubei Three Gorges Polytechnicwill seek greater synergy with international high standards, developnew indicators for talent training, and introduce an international talent exchange platformto promote the high-level construction of the integration of Mechanics and Electricsgroups, and provide more intelligent manufacturing high-level skilled talentsfor industrial developmentof Yichang.
