To celebrate the coming 112th International Women's Day, variouspreferential programs will be launched in many tourism attractionsof Yichang City to attract tourists, where female tourists may enjoy their festival in tourismwhile male tourists may also feel delighted to benefitfrom thepreferential ticket policies in some scenic areason this day.

　　According to the programof the Cultural Tourism Area of Qu Yuan's Hometown,from March 5 to March 8, the tickets for female touristswill be discounted to38 yuan, and one of every five male tourists in company mayenjoy the same discount. In addition, the touristsin Han Chinese costume or born on March 8as well asthe native tourists (proof of ID card will be required)will befree of tickets.

　　The Three Gorges Bamboo Sea Ecological Scenic Spot, known as a “Natural Oxygen Bar in the Three Gorges area” also offers a free admission ticket and a free ticket for the glass bridge to all the female tourists during March 5 to 8, and preferential package tickets of 138 yuan to individual adult tourists, preferential package tickets of 118 yuan to students, 1.2-to-1.4m-tall children and the elderly of 60 to 69 years old during March 1 to October 31. The package ticket covers the admission ticket to the Three Gorges Bamboo Sea and the tickets for the bamboo raft, sightseeing bus (round trip), glass bridge, and mountain spring rafting, the full price of which is 249 yuan.

　　The Qingjiang River ScenicResort will be open to female visitors free of ticket on March 8, when the performance of “Sister Hua Dongdong”, a folk song and dance show will be restored to the end of March and the price of the ticket is 68 yuan. The show presents to the tourist audience the charm of the folk songs and dances of Tujia intangible culture of the Qingjiang River Valley, such as the Songs of Cursing the Go-between, the Wedding Wailing Songs, the Hand-waving Dance, the folk songs, the Naqu Opera and so on.
