On the afternoon of March 29, Yichang Alumni Association was unveiled. Since then, a series of exchange activities will be carried out to advance mutual trust and consensus and mutually beneficial cooperation between the city and the alumni.

　　The Alumni Association of Universities and Model High Schools (hereinafter referred to as the “Alliance”) in Yichang is a coordinating organization established by Yichang City, Universities and model high schools to jointly provide services for alumni. It is responsible for proposing, negotiating, coordinating and implementing important issues for serving Yichang alumni. The alumni associations of the universities and model high schools are the qualified units. The leaders of the universities in charge and the principals of those model high schools in the city are the individual members of the alliance.

　　After the establishment of the alliance, joint working meetings will be held regularly to strengthen the communication between the alumni associations; establish an operating mechanism for alumni joint recruitment of talents and investment promotion; organize alumni exchange activities, conduct alumni visits, alumni family reunions, alumni forums , alumni summit and other activities to promote mutual trust and consensus and mutually beneficial cooperation; give fully support to their careers in Yichang, enable the connection of alumni with the city’s major talent projects, key industrial fields, and significant projects, and support alumni in Yichang’s transformation of achievements, innovation and entrepreneurship; solve the difficulties for the alumni who have been selected into various talent programs in terms of work and life during Yichang; establish an alumni honor system, rewarding outstanding alumni, vigorously publicizing the successful experience and typical cases of notable alumni entrepreneurial development in Yichang for the selection activity “Yichang Alumni Stars”.
