With the completion of Yichang Yangtze River Coastline Restoration Project and its opening to the public, the Kite Art Festival was held at Lighthouse Square in Xiaoting District on May 28, the new internet-famous site along the Yangtze River coastline.

　　With the fine drizzles falling in the morning, teachers from Wuhan Kite Association impressed the citizens with a spectacular kite stunt performance. The sports kite, known as the air ballet, presented various flying postures, including rapid climbing, steep diving and soaring in the sky, which received a hearty cheer from the audience. Two customized kites Tunbao (the cute dolphin) and Chengcheng (a lovely orange) represent the local culture respectively, and they flew in the blue sky together with huge kites such as ray-shaped and loong-shaped kites, presenting an unprecedented kite show. And a large interactive kite-flying activity named “rolling loong-shaped kite”also gave residents a special experience.

　　Besides that, interactive sessions such as Small-scale Lawn Concert,Clown Magic Balloon, Colorful Bubble Show and Tunbao Seeking Friends attracted many citizens to participate in.
