Yichang’s First Charging Station in Parks Put into Operation
2022-07-22 10:00:22

Yichang City has seen an increase in electric vehicle sales this year. In order to solve the charging problem by expanding the number and scope of installation of charging piles, the State Grid Hubei Electric Power Company is constantly looking for suitable installation sites in the urban area. In early July, Yichang’s first charging station in parks was put into operation. There are five brand-new charging piles stand neatly, each with two charging guns, and a total of ten charging parking spaces, which can dynamically meet the needs of the vehicle and meet the maximum charging of 120 kilowatts. In the future, the capacity will be increased to a 160-kilowatt charging device. This charging station serves the densely populated Zhongnan Road business district. Nearly 500 private cars have been charged since it was put into use. (Reporter Wang Lingyun, correspondent Zeng Zheng, Chen Lu, Xiang Kun)
